Ellen Ruth Desmond

ABOUT ELLEN

Ellen has loved science and science fiction her entire life. She earned a degree in biology, worked as a medical technologist, then returned to school to study animal behavior and earn a PhD in zoology. After doing postdoctoral research at Howard and MIT, she left academia to work in the computer industry as an engineer, course developer, and technical writer. She lives in Northern California with her husband Jack and cat.
